This is a roll of 120 I shot in studio earlier this week. My models were four strapping young men: Jonathon, Nick, Ryan and Mitch. I don’t usually shoot in studio and I never photograph men, so this was more about experimenting. Turns out I like the photos I fucked up where the flash didn’t go off and the subject is back lit.

This is a roll from my last night in Copenhagen two summers ago. We went to this drug dealer party in Christiana and I smoked some really crazy weed. There was this red carpet and a giant paper mache volcano. It started to rain and within two mins they had unraveled tarp city. I pretty much got super fucked up and I feel like these images full capture my vision of the evening. I’m pretty sure you couldn’t take photos there either, so there IS a reason they are so crazy blurry… had to be sneaky with no flash.The roll ends with me throwing up outside the apartment I was staying at.

Roll 39
This is a roll of slide film from last spring. We’re hanging out in Sarah’s backyard and on her roof with Tam, Ro, Leah and myself. Then the S.P.E.C.T.R.E boys are playing a show at the Drake underground. Then the group of us all pose for a photo in front of an old Buick on Abel Street. There are a few shots at Trinity Bellwoods from this past spring, as well as a get together with my brother and Jonathon in Toronto. Theres some photo’s of a walk home after working at the Bellevue as well as the RoofTop show at Kai, Tam and Colin’s house last spring… it rained the whole night. The whole thing was shot using the “Panorama” setting on my point and shoot.

This is a roll I totally fucked up. I originally shot the Chippys Basement Show last year on this roll and then forgot about it. I took that roll and shot my “self portraits by others” last semester with it. I didn’t do a very good job rinsing the film after I saw that I totally fucked it up. But there are some weird juxtapositions .. and I am in almost every frame somewhere.. so it is kind of like where waldo.
